Interesting Foods

I have eaten a lot of interesting things since i have been to Guyana! i have eaten alligator, iguana , Laba (cappybara)

And yes the People of guyana are wonderful!    the members here are so funny haha  i get along with them really well :) its interesting to be able to meet people and instantly enjoy their company!
ITs so fun to see  how much people have changed! the Gospel really does that ! helps people change!
I heard a quote that said "the Gospel is there to comfort the afflicted, and to afflict the comfortable" which i thought was interesting, whenever you get comfortable you should feel there is something to change  ! something more you could do!

Things in this branch are doing alright! we have a lot of Strong strong members and few weaker ones.! which is weird to me! but its kind fun! we  are working really hard on reactivating and baptizing through the La's and it cool!
This week we had 3 people reactivated. they are such a wonderful family! they have been gone for a while and are really coming back strong! the two daughters really want to serve missions!

it never hit me how blessed i was to have come to the family i did until i came on my mission. There are so many precious souls to save and so many good kids who could do so much good with a little better upbringing.  but i really am amazed when all the odds are against a kid, Both parents are drunks and they have literally nothing, But still they press forward with faith and do the works of a righteous saint.  I give so much respect to those kids! so many times i have wanted to just take a kid and adopt them to give them a good chance in life but i cant . its interesting how God has a purpose for everything tho. Every unfair thing we go through with be made right by God. in this life or the next!

but its a lot of fun here in guyana. we have found a lot of cool new people !
One guy told us he would read the whole book of mormon in 2 weeks! so we are going back Wednesday to follow up haha!
We had a bit of a slow week! we had a sick missionary with us. Elder Christensen got Dengue fever and Typhoid Fever at the same time.    So we had to take  Elder A  out teaching so he wouldn't  go crazy staying inside for 2 weeks haha. we rotated who would stay with elder Christensen! so we were slower a bit but i am happy to see Elder Christensen healthy!
Oh today i saw an anaconda! we brought his skin and are going to get some wallets out of it! haha it was just in the middle of the road!  good times!

Sorry my letter is short i gotta go!
Love ya tho!~

Kites and the Atonement

This week was a very interesting week! we had quite a few cool things and fun activities.

First of all i cannot find my camera cord so that is why i am lacking on the photo uploading!

but we bought an 8 foot Tall kite that we are going to fly for Easter! flying kites in the Caribbean during Easter is a huge thing, i cannot remember it being a thing to do back home.
But it is amazing to see the symbolism in why they really do fly kites at this time of the year. to remember that "He is Risen" such a cool thought !
But its Fun. It seems like everywhere i go now a days the Atonement gets brought up.
Either its at Zone Conference or a random meeting with President Mehr or just in teaching people!
The Atonement is real and is an amazing Blessing!

I Actually have learned a lot about the Atonement and one of the coolest experience i have had recently is when we went to visit a less active person. We actually had a fall through in our plans while we took out 2 members so we went to visit an inactive family. And while we were talking about the atonement i felt like i needed to share that sometimes it is really hard to talk to people about our problems, because often people we talk to will try to console us but in reality they don't know what we are feeling or what our pains our like..But the beautiful miracle of the Atonement is that Jesus Christ Knows exactly how each situation feels and exactly our pains. And i could tell they really liked that.
Yesterday at church that  same lady Got up and bore her testimony about how recently she had been going through a lot of trials and how she felt nobody would understand, but the missionaries came over and taught her about the atonement and how she is so blessed to know that Christ knows. she is Great! anyways that was a lot of fun!
But today so far was interesting ! We had President Mehr here and he taught a little bit but he came for interviews, so surprise i kind of know my transfer call all ready.
I am going to stay in canje as a Zone leader but i am going to have either a Temp or a next missionary.
and the Other Zone leader will be in Rosignol Area with either a Temp  or a regular missionary.. So Whew its going to be interesting!
But Yes "ZR" and their two future missionary sons.
They are Great! we had been talking to members about them and they were taught before and the problem before was he was not interested in marriage but we went over this week and he actually brought marriage up and started talking all sort of plans  to get married! sooo!! Whoo!
They are awesome! They are planning on getting married on the second of May!

All is going well in this area! things are really picking up!

I Love Being a missionary!

A Few New Investigators

Well its wonderful to hear of all the events of home!
so much happens when i look away!
That is crazy to think Clarke is almost done right now!
But hey yes this week was a lot slower and better for working! the only thing that kept us from once again having a full work week was that we had Zone conference Which i was actually asked to conduct! so i conducted the Zone conference with Elder Cornish There .. So the President of the whole Carribean Area got to see me all nervously conducting my second ever meeting haha. but it was good! we learned so much from him and we are working hard to implement what we learned!

highlight of the week was we had an investigator who we met last week named "YA" come to church this Sunday! She is awesome! She is 17 and eager to change her life. She actually told us in the first meeting that she had thought about baptism before with all her friends but figured that she didnt want to promise God That she would be Good when she knew she might break her Promise. But yesterday we went to meet her and finished teaching her about the Restoration. and a the end of the lesson i was starting to talk to her about baptism. and i asked her about her situation before how she didn't want to make that promise with God then, and before i could even ask her how she felt about it now she said "I know what you Going to say, and yes i am ready to be baptized now" SOOO she is cool ! she will get baptized in April! a lot of interesting things have really happened lately!

Anyways! We finally Got a Directory from the branch, it took so long because we dont have a computer in the branch.. it getting repaired for over a month now !! :0
But yes things are going great! we have some wonderful plans for our work! and we are starting to see a lot of success!
Another Highlight of the week was When we went so teach a family known as "ZR" Now they were taught by missionaries before, actually the two years ago when they met with missionaries is actually why "ZR" is Christian instead of Muslim now.  But they are soo cool! they have two sons aged 6 and 8! soo definitely some future missionaries!  and we commited them to doing a nightly family prayer and family reading! And they did it and they described the feeling of the holy Ghost When we asked them how they felt!  now our intent on having them do this was to help them Strengthen their relationship and its working! they are alot happier.    and come wednesday we are going to discus a baptismal date for them as well!
So we are happy for them too!

Something cool that we learned lately is that when people go through spiritual experiences together they grow closer together! So that is why it is so important to have members with missionaries or have members baptize people! so they will grow to the members as well as the missionaries!
Its really fun being in this canje Area!
I will continue to keep you updated on all our happenings!
But i got to Go!

Crazy Week

This week has been sooo crazy! we have been able to get little to no work done in our area.. well at least i was.
i think i taught a grand total of 3 or 4 lessons in my area this week! :0
crazy stuff happened and a missionary had to be sent to trinidad. and since we are the zone leaders and have a car we had to drive him down to georgetown at 6:30 or 7 in the evening so he could catch a flight in the morning! now its a 1 1/2 hour or 2 hour drive  (depending on if you drive the speed limit. so we got back home by about 10:30 in the night. anyways all the crazyness happened on our workdays (we were splitting days between canje and new amsterdam area) but now that we were another missionary short we fixed the missing temp problem so now we are finally back to work in our area!

The reason i lost so much time in my area was also because I went so skeldon on saturday and then drove from rose hall again there on sunday to attend church.
so when i got to church i got to give an impromptu talk. so i decided to speak on scripture study and i thought it was good. it was a lot of fun!!
But im excited all the crazyness has slowed down. im exhausted haha. but its all good!

This week has been crazy but i would say from it i learned very strongly that God Does answer prayers! and Grants unto us our Righteous Desires!

oh i also went cast net fishing this week haha it was fun!and sorry i forgot my camera so i will do the photos next week!! :) Sorry!

Anyways i love you a lot!

Covering Three Branches

this week has been a pretty interesting week. im not sure if i told you this last week but the New Amsterdam area only has one missionary and his temp has not yet come or been found! soo he has been with us for the last 3 weeks haha. i sure hope i told you since its been that way for 3 weeks! it hs been a lot of fun to have him around! he adds a whole new aspect to our teaching together!

soo friday gone was a holiday called phagwah. which is a hindu holiday which actually color me rad was based off of i believe. its a color festival. it has some interesting background! and now the cool thing is like half the people in berbice are hindu.. and in skeldon its like 75-80% sooooo they play phagwah very much over here!. basically you just walk around all day talking to people and they smear colorful powder all over you! soo needless to say is that we had a fun time.. it was a lot of fun i actually went up to skeldon on friday to teach and got pretty colorful.    the elders who stayed here didnt have a car and were visiting people to get colored so they were way worse but it was an interesting holiday to work on. . . Ive got a nice souvenir shirt. Skeldon is awesome though! we met with brother sancho's Soon to be wife and she is really cool. during the lesson we actually found out missionaries had visited her before and she wasnt baptized because she "wasnt ready to join the Faith" so we asked her "what about now?" and she said she is ready! so after they are married she will get baptized shortly after! Super Exciting! oh and (subject change) Hindus are really nice they will always feed you! its part of their religion.. soooo we ate a ton on phagwah day! so much vermicelli and sweet rice ! so good!
Its hard to get a ton of work done in  this area  because we rotate days in canje and new amsterdam! soo we go back and forth days and only get to cover our areas half the time!
For me it is really interesting because i am covering 3 branches ! Canje, New amsterdam, and Skeldon. I actually didnt even get to go to canje church on sunday. i went with Elder Clark to new amsterdam so i didnt even get to see my branch! and the sad thing is i wont be there next week either! we have done some forward planning and actually planned an overnight skeldon Trip with me and Elder Aukusitino saturday coming. So i Will Be in Skeldon branch On sunday! ahh! i can only imagine what traveling high Councillors feel like!
Anyways all is well! its been really amazing to see what has been taking place over here in the area of berbice Guyana! there is talk about a District! we have set that as the goal and the church is slowly but surely working towards that Goal!
But that is so amazing to know of all the temple attendance! its interesting how when a temple is so close we kind of take it for granted. and down here people long and wish they could attend regularly. its interesting to talk to people who have a temple trip planned like 8 months in advance and when i think about it, any given day i could just decide to go to the temple when i am at home! one thing i love is every temple on the earth weakens the power of satan!

This last week i have been thinking about the spirit in our lives. the question that always comes to mind is , do i heed all the spirits calls? i dont think i do at this point, but i could imagine what would happen if i did!  i always meet people who i would call "spiritual Giants" and its interesting to think at one point they still started as a spiritual baby.  over time trial success with the spirit they become who they are!
The struggle to perfect ourselves is an interesting one!
Gotta love it!

its really great to hear about all that is hapening back home! return missionaries are really the way to growth! i think here in Guyana i have devoted myself to trying to get  more  missionaries  to serve out of these branches! they really need it!
But to hear how much the church is growing and to think of all my friends who will be returning from missions just now! i cannot imagine how fast wards (i almost put branches) will be splitting and new ones organized ! its crazy!
"no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing!"
But Yes all is well over here ! i love guyanese food! especially seven curry! it is great! you get to eat it with your hands!
But I gotta Go!
Love you Tons!

New Companion, New Area, New Responsibilities

so this weeek has been an interesting week!

Let me start with the Good! So "TS" never ceases to amaze! he came to church today even tho it  was another conference all the way over in canje! 1:10 min drive!
but best about him was last time we went to see him we brought a young man named "KB". and "KB" is back and ready to serve. now together they decided to go every day or everyother day after 4 in the evening searching for the less actives and teach them the gospel again so that they can come back into the fold and become strong and righteous! so they know the role that the members play in the preaching of the gospel!

Anyways sad news was that on our way back to do "DL"s interview we recieved a text saying he wanted to push his date back again! so sad! but we are going to keep working with him!
so he wasnt baptised saturday gone like we thought.

Another piece of good news is i will finally get a car!
sad news after one transfer in rose hall i am being moved! I am leaving Rose hall and going to the Canje area to be a Zone Leader. its interesting leaving! i feel like i got to know these people so well but yet i feel like a was barely here!

Now once again good news! Elder Aukusitino is coming to replace me! MY first son in the wilderness is coming home!! :)
Wll rose hall is doing well tho !

WE recently startyed working with a whole ton of Part member families and they are really cool! i cannot wait to hear of the success that elder christensen and elder aukusitino have!

But yeah my new companion is Elder Fauchier!
And yeah its a safe area i am only sad because we got new bikes here saturday gone and now i wont get to use it :( haha

Whooo!  haha i got trained on how to help people gain their self reliance! ie: start their own buisness! so you could say i am now a buisness teacher!

Oh fun fact i havent been telling about for some reason! (i forgot) we have been teaching a reading class twice a week and people are learning to read by our hands! so its amazing

Ahh so much is hapening! im in a kind of car area and everything is happening so fast!
ITs amazing that all of this is just a speck of a speck to God and to our eternal timeline!
Thats is somthing that has always boggled my mind!
WE had eons and eons of time in the pre earth life to prepare for this one game of like 70-100 years and then we have forever to reap the rewards of how well we played! makes me think of the larry gelwix quote! "no regrets"

ANyways all is going good for me!

Anywho i love you a lot

Raising up Stripling Warriors

So many awesome things have been happening in the priesthood front!
Highlight would definitly be a man named "TS"! he was branch president from new amsterdam many years ago but after some unfortunate events moved to skeldon and went inactive for 5 years. now i got his number after seeing his name on the membership records and called and he was stoaked to hear from missionaries. he said he needed to get his life back in order! anyways he went to church again sunday gone and recently called us and asked for a branch directory so that he could find people and help them come back! this man is a boss! he has already been to the temple so it is so exciting that he is going back to church now! and changing his life!
AHH its awesome!
we also recently got a branch mission leader here in rose hall!   so we are super excited to work with him more!
Oh and yeah all is good with "DL" he could be baptized this saturday if he is ok about being baptized without his sister. . . she didnt come sunday because she slept in! :( so we were sad about that!
REcently we have been finding a lot of mission age less active young men and woman! we are making a really big push to help them return and go on missions!
we are currently trying to raise some stripling warriors!! it will yield much success!
we have had many melkezidek priesthood holders coming back into activity!
ITs so important to have the priesthood!
one had a dream that he needed to come back and that this was the only true  church!
Others have been slowly drifting back and others have come back as soon as they heard our voices searching for them!
So much fun out here!
Rose hall is fantastic! this district is full of really fun people!
ITs going to be crazy once missionaries are aloud in this country again!
I love being here!  nothing i would rather be doing!
Thanks for all the love and support!
I love you much!
Love Elder Pierson!
P.s Yes valentines day is really big here. Bigger than in canada! like more than half the people were dressed in red and white!
Felt like canada day! ;)

Lots of Land to Cover

This week has been really good!

So funny thing is that i have two areas and you could say two companions haha. me and Elder Christensen cover rose hall very well, and then every Friday me and Elder Larson go to work in skeldon (almost to Suriname) so its really interesting!

this last week we have been getting given like a million mangoes ! its crazy i have eaten like 4 a day and the pile never seems to die down! :0 its ridiculous! haha but mangoes are delicious .

Anyways yes "DL" is a boss! we actually found out why he missed and it was kinda silly, he woke up at 5 on Sunday and decided that was too early to start getting ready, so he went to sleep for another hour and didn't wake up till it was over! so totally accidentally slept throught it, but we taught the importance of the sacrament and he totally understood the need to move his date back! so he is praying about the 14th but he might find a different date, we are leaving it to him to pick the day! now his sister "EE" wants to get baptized on the same day as he does, but she didn't come to church this Sunday! so she would have to wait till the 21 or later! so maybe "DL" will get to baptize her!

And yes oh yes the duct tape lives on in the W.I.M.! i was actually there when the car in Guyana broke. we hit a little stump we didn't see, but duct tape fixes everything!

Everything is really fun! i love guyana! there is so much work going on!

I wish i had more to   tell you! we didnt do anything cool to do this day and we are really trying to find some good people to teach ! we will start to cover more land searching for the elect !

I have been learning alot since i have been here! the doctrine and covenents is full of fantastic things to study! its awesome!

Um yeah right now we are trying to get all the ym excited to work towards a mission! that is what the branches in guyana need! return missionaries!

But i gottta go!

Caribbean Area Conference

But all is going so very well here in Guyana. Sunday Gone was a really interesting Sunday. We actually didn't have a fast Sunday last week because we had a Caribbean Area Conference. Elder Holland And Elder Packer Spoke to the whole Caribbean area It was funny cause they spoke in Spanish for a little bit haha.    it was interesting because in Berbice where we are there is only one chapel out of six that has a satellite dish. so we all Got to meet at that one building for church! it was wonderful! there was plenty people!

DL" and his sister this past week prayed and received an answer that the 7th is they day they are supposed to be baptized. now they didn't make it to church. we are still not sure why. So depending on the answer we might have to move it to the 14th so that they can come the sunday before their baptism . But they are doing wonderful! "DL" actually has received a spiritual witness of the divinity of this work, but when we taught tithing last week he thought it was wrong. but we taught and used a lot of scriptures. and when we went the week coming he said he prayed about it and he knows that the law of tithing is a true commandment! so he is quite a boss! we Are really Excited for him!

And as for reactivating some of the less actives IT is going good. There is a man whose house we went to last night who always seemed like a good guy everything in his house screams Mormon, he had even the 4th article of faith taped to his front door. but when we went by him yesterday he told us he want to come by him for two weeks almost as often as we can to help get him back on his feet and then he will help us reclaim others! and he was really sincere about it, i think he is going to come back! his whole family is really strong members of the church. Things are looking up for us in this area!

We also have been teaching a lot of referrals from members. There are actually a lot of  really  strong members in the church right now! super cool! there is one missionary out from the branch and one almost Gone. but we are working on getting more young men excited for missions and taking them teaching! same with the young woman. It's going to be wonderful!
I really like how people talked about trials. i heard a cool quote in Grenada that said "you cannot climb a smooth mountain" in life we want to get higher always! and trials are like the bumps.
But this week has been really enjoyable. Every Friday we actually go to the branch by Suriname the area is called Skeldon . The loss of missionaries really hurt the areas here. There used to be 3 area's and 3 companionship but they had to leave.   and now we cover the three areas. But there in the two branches in Skeldon used to be an attendance of about 70-80 each and now they collapsed into one branch of about 11 people every sunday!
I cannot wait till 4 months later when the government changes and they let missionaries into the country again!

But i love it here!We did actually go Bush waking today cutlass and all walking into the amazon! it was cool!
But i love you much!

 Take care!

More About Guyana

First off i want to start by telling you about the most prepared person i think i have ever met! his name is "DL".
"DL" is a strong christian, he was an investigator Elder Jacobson left behind for us! now  "DL" is outrageously intelligent.
He is a math teacher at a secondary school, and he is going through lots of years  of university so his pay raises.
but he is great! we see him every other day at 8 at night and he has recently made great strides! he has come to church 3 times now! once before us and twice since!
he was baptized in another faith so that was a problem at first but he recently pieced it all together that if this church is true then no other church has authority.
now i was slightly nervous when he pieced that fully together! when we were teaching about baptism he just asked "so in Gods eyes my first baptism didnt count."
It was quiet for a second because no one wants to tell someone who is serving the Lord to the best of their ability that their baptism didnt count.
Then elder christensen felt impressed to pull a president Mehr. . . Just asked him what he thinks.    And he responded that his first didnt count and he wants to be baptized in this church!
he is awesome!!! so is his younger sister! they will both most likely get baptized on the 7th!    anyways thats awesome!

we had a few investigators at church but so many people didnt come because it rained pretty heavy before church, and during the start!
But all was well!

As for group P-days, we had an all Guyana activity today! thats why i am emailing later!
we went down to georgetown. (i woke up at 4 for this) and played basketball and football!

Also something cool is there was a missionary that came from jamaica, and he would teach with Elder Zeck and Elder Koegler.  he brought some canadian flags for me and denver from those two. he isnt in Guyana but he sent it with another Elder who came to Guyana! there is a picture on dropbox if it all uploads in time.

Today was alot of fun! i really enjoyed it!

And oh yes Monkeys are pretty common pets i think!    Elder Brown Got given a Monkey in Bushlot, but we cant have pets so he gave it to a member over there!

Im not sure if i told you how big my area is, but its big, if you look on google maps and look for port morant on the east end of the country . my are a  goes from about 30-40 kms before that to suriname, and then down to brazil! sooo my area is huge!

The weather here in guyana is pretty similar to the islands, other than there is not as many  cool breezes, i think its average of 30's most every day!

Baptisms actually we have a little movable tub thing here. the ocean is really dirty here, so if you do a baptism in the ocean you will wade out in mud up to your knees till you reach water, and then its really dirty water..

some people are baptized in trenches.. Google Guyanese trenches.. haha

everything is really Fun here! the work is fast!

It is sad to hear about Sister Lowry. ITs amazing however to hear of the faith of her family! i take great joy and great satisfaction in the knowledge we have of  Gods Plan and for the power to bind on earth and in heaven! its really makes things much easier to bear! I am amazed every time when i hear of such faith!

But i love you so much!
I know the Gospel is true and i will continue to serve The Lord Faithfully out here!

Love you much!

Guyana is Great!

So much to say! but i think i will start with the most absolutely important event
I TOUCHED A MONKEY! it was great! his name is montout. but its really wonderful to be in Guyana!

right now we have a branch here. There  are no stakes in Guyana so there  are no wards.  But I guess This branch we are serving in used to be crazy big. as in like 150-200 attendance. this past week we were there and we had 57 people. mostly woman and children.. oh and  we were also we informed that the branch president was getting released. so Elder Christensen Got to conduct and he was the one to release him. so we filled in as  branch presidents that day and actually called for a sustaining vote to have the sr couple here to be the branch president, Elder Avondet. So it was crazy! we got to do all the tithing on sunday gone. it took  so long because the MLS is messed up on the computer so we had to input it by hand. Anyways it was a great first sunday!

Elder Christensen actually came from the french side. this is his first english speaking area. he is from wyoming. he has 3 months left in his mission. So we are working hard right now on the
re activation of the Melchizedek priesthood there are like  15 of them but only 3 active. so we are working hard on it!

oh btw if the country would allow as many missionaries as we wanted here, Guyana would be its own mission!
They dont let sisters here because of the danger mainly, But also because the country only lets 20 foreign  missionaries into the counrty. so there isnt too  much space for elders! i actually cover 2 branches that are about an hour apart! crazy!

We  helped someone kill some tings the other day. They were pulling up boards from an old goat shack thing and there were literally millions of cockroaches and at least 10 huge rats and about 6 huge centipedes! it was crazy! lots of fun!
Fun fact is  that  somtimes here i feel like i am in india! there is so many Hindu and muslim people and they all believe in reincarnation... so its interesting!
i havent had to deal with trying to teach hindu before!

But hey here it  smells like silage somtimes! its wonderful!   haha

Getting here I spent so long in the airport it was so boring!! i woke up at 4 that morning. Got to the airport at 5  plane left at 6:30 landed in barbados at 7:30 then i had to wait by myself till 12 haha i felt so apostate! no sight and sound for so long ahah...
But all was well i made it to Guyana with no trouble!

Oh and here in guyana we have bikes, but they are terrible... haha i think they are going to break every time i ride it oh and there are a billion mosquitoes :)

And we have a House the church bought and made into a church building! but the next branch over canje has a beautiful chapel.
Right now me and Elder Christianson are walking around with 30 thousand dollars :0 guyanese  But its not  that much when you convert it to canadian money.

we had a Couple investigators  come to church actually. we had 4 come this sunday. i gave an impromptu talk on missionary work. so it was fun!

Guyana is great! its not really dangerous here. the danger is in georgetown. so berbice is alright.. So its going really wonderful here already!
In one day here we got fed 4 times And ate our own lunch before ! so The members are Great!

There is also a really great young man named Mark who is going on a mission.. and when i say young man he is 21 but he is awesome! he has been so helpful!
To tell you the truth here, we havent really contacted houses or on the street too much, we have been just going to the members houses and teaching their refferals!

Guyana is GReat!
I Love it!
 And  i love you!
I gotta go!

Transfers to Guyana

We were at Hog Island This morning!
it was a really wonderful P-Day activity!
i really love liming at the beach whenever i get an opportunity to.. we are definitly Going to hog island When we come to see Grenada!

but as for the Beaches i will no longer be able to Adore them.
They dont have any beaches in Guyana
So i guess ill have to Lime by the Stinky Rum Factory in Berbice.
So yeah i am gettting moved to an area called Rose hall in Berbice Guyana.
i leave early wednesday morning 6 am and get to Guyana at 2:30 carribean standard time (really most likely 4 or 5 haha) but yeah i am going to be sad to leave here!

i was thinking its going to be unfortunate to leave such wonderful people and alot who were preparing for baptism! we have one planned for saturday coming!
But i will wait for a picture from Elder Padilla.

My new Companion is an Elder from wyoming named Elder Christianson. all i really know about him so far is that he is from the french side, just finished being a zone leader and he can Curl 200 pounds, oh and can bench 500 :0
so we will be in guyana together and president said he will show me how to be District leader. so i am excited to work with him.

Elder LEany told me that after the ap's came to visit and elder ferrin came with us he came back to get dropped off by the zone leader he told elder leany "Elder Pierson is a great missionary"
i really enjoy Elder Ferrins company!

But all was well this week!,
Coolest experiance actually happened not to long ago. we went to teach this one lady we taught once when we contacted her..
oh a little background. we have been working on whats called a contract lesson, where you find out there concern and then commit them to baptism is through this gospel their concern is cured.. but we found her concern last time and it was "i Am really just looking for the right church for me to join."
we taught her the Gospel and left a restoration tract when we first visited. When we came back she had read the restoration tract with her boyfriend and she prayed about it.
She told us of a vision where she kept trying to leave church to go to a party and she couldnt find her way to the party. but the church kept being there.
Her old path was suddenly Gone.
But she woke up and talked with her boyfriend and when we talked with her she had come to the conclusion that the dream was from God to tell her this church is the true church! and she wants to join it. So she will start coming to church this sunday coming and get baptized once she gets married! Anyways that was most likely the Highlight!

OH And if you remember  ME talking about Elder Jacobson.. The Friendly Giant. He is Elder Padilla's mother! o they are going to work miracles  here!

Anyways i am happy all is well! Love you much!
