Transfers and Flooding

I am doing Great! I found out about the transfer and I am staying with Elder Schroeder for another transfer still in the city of Castries. I am excited and happy that I will get to be there for "S" baptism! I think me staying with Elder Schroeder is bringing to pass part of my patriarchal blessing. About me knowing the scriptures well. He knows them so well and is sharing so much information and insight on them! I really enjoy having my blessing just right there to look at and learn from all the time.

I really enjoy my companions and all the missionaries around me! They are sweet! this transfer only one is leaving! Elder Larson. so thats sad. But everything else is staying the same! The sisters are kinda crazy excited about everything(like all sister missionaries) but yeah I enjoy all the missionaries on this island hopefully Elder Larsons replacement is awesome as well!  I am sure he will!

Ok so favourite part about this last week.. well my favourite part about last week was the amount of contacting we did! We got to know so many people! It was amazing! There are so many people who are willing to listen to what we have to say. It's truly amazing to see how many people the Lord has prepared and put in our path! I'm excited for this next transfer where I will no longer be training so I will have one more hour in the day for teaching and tracting. That hour was previously used for training! so I'm excited for the transfer!

So this Sunday was a little different. We only had one hour of church. Only the sacrament meeting. President Debouville let everyone go home early to figure their lives out. I don't know if you heard really how bad the storm that passed was. I said it rained a lot but that was an understatement. It rained 260ml in one go and all the locals say it was way worse than hurricane Thomas. The amount of devastation that has occurred has been unreal. There has been no water for the past 4-5 days, and when the pipes would open for an hour or two the water was filthy. So me and Elder Schroeder are really lucky we have a water tank that holds 1000 gallons and a pump that works so we were good to shower and drink water and stuff (all missionaries have a water filter) all the other missionaries went a couple days without showering. So we were lucky. oh and the view fort missionaries are coming up here because that is where the destruction really happened and they have no water still and are struggling to get water. So they get a vacation in Castries for a while. But the people here are really suffering. We have been carrying water to give to people and they have been so thankful, but the storm was a disaster for the island. 3 bridges were washed away, 4 roads were washed out and 7 people have died so far. All from the storm so far. So we are trying to help out. But there are places like Bexon that are covered in 3-4 foot of mud from all the landslides. The Church is sending us 25000 hygiene and supply kits to help out. Hopefully things will get figured out soon. We are doing out best to help! So yeah don't be worried about me but just letting you know whats going on in the island. Oh and this storm hit three other islands. The one that got the worst was St. Vincent. We are going there on Thursday for zone conference. (I get to fly again) but hopefully we can help out there. Oh 24 people have died in St.Vincent so far. It was hit so much worse. But once again do not worry I am doing just fine!

Oh we had an investigator named "O" come with his two kids! He is awesome! :)

Anyways I'm glad I'm here and I get to stay here and I'm working harder that ever now and I'm so excited to see progress on the island. Oh something cool. So St. Lucia had no baptisms for a year or two until two transfers ago and now we have had 5 or six in three transfers! :)
The work is truly hastening! So thank you all for your prayers and I love you.

Love Elder Pierson

I don't often get cold, but when I do I make sure to write about it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

So St.Lucia is doing amazing! There was a crazy flooding storm today. So as I am writing this letter I am kinda soaked sitting in the air conditioning. This is the second time only that I have been cold on my mission. haha The first was when I got to be a witness in another baptism on Saturday.

We are going to cut our tree down today! So I can put the presents under it today ! :)
We had our best investigator at church on sunday for the second week in a row. As for church attendance, it was lacking about 20-30 as opposed to 60 because we had a Christmas party on Saturday and people here tend to not come if you have a big activity sometime in the week! Which was fun by the way. Elder Schroeder made some bakes that our investigator gave us the recipe too!

So haha funny thing about the countdown... ehh I uhhhh... might  um have maybe..... opened them all early... cough cough.
They were amazing I love it so much! It's great to hear from all the people at home!

The people here have no problem with meeting us because of the season. The only problem we have is that this season is the tourist season so people are often out trying to make money off of the tourists! So some people aren't home. But for the most part people are excited to see us. Also a lot of religions don't celebrate Christmas down here because it has been turned into a big drunken party so we even have a few appointments on Christmas day!

Anyways first official for sure baptism for me and Elder Schroeder will be happening on Jan 4. Our awesome investigator who makes delicious food prayed and fasted after we taught her about fasting and she got her answer for the fourth. She said it came because she looked at a calendar saw the fourth and a thought came into her mind of "I have 4 children to save(get baptized), I will get baptized on the 4th." So that date will not move! Hopefully I'm still here!

Merry Christmas! Love Elder Pierson

The Christmas Season

So as for my companion he is feeling much better. he fully recovered this week! like in wednesday!
Church this week was Great!
We have 4 Young men aged kids who are super smart Investigating and they were going to come to church, but they pulled an alnighter one of those days before and fell asleep and slept through there alarms for church. so sad but we did get four other investigators come to church. "S" the one who makes amazing food! and she is excited to come to the christmas party! on saturday and to church the next day! other than that we had two more investigators there!
So as far as Teaching investiagtors I am going to go back to that group of young men! we had a lesson with them last night and we taught the plan of salvation, and they loved it. they had so many questions and we didnt have enough time to teach them. so during P-day Today we are going to the Beach with them and teach them the rest. also at the beach we are going to do some fllips and stuff. like backflips and front flips and handsprings and stuff.
also! i have been really enjoying the christmas season! people really like to think about Jesus and talk religion during this season. those are the good people. if they dont talk about Jesus during Chiristmas they are probably drinking and partying the season away. so its good down here! we have so many investigators who are progressing now! its cool to see when something makes sense and they know its true! Bearing testimony and praying for help from the Holy Ghost really makes teaching so much more effective!
One more specific Lesson that was Great was with a girl named "ML". She has been investigating for a long time and she is scared to get baptised because she doesnt want to mess up again. so we taught her alot this past tuesday and that whole lesson the spirit was there. there was no doubt about it, she told us she was feeling it because she says she always crys whe she feels the spirit powerfully, and then later in the lesson while we were bearing testimony she asked us if we were trying to make her cry. but she is an awesome investigator and im excited to help her realize her potential and to fulfill her desire to get baptised!

Love You
Elder Pierson

Enjoying the warmth

Things in St Lucia are... Warm.. and touristy. since i have been here i and seen 46 Cruise ships. about 30 some have been from  this transfer alone! anyways Kinda Jealous and not at all Jealous at the same time about your weather! Want to Trade?

My Companion is feeling much better. his bones no longer feel like they are super weak and his skin doesnt feel like its being rubbed raw so. hes better. just gets tired really easily now. and not eating to much but he is well enough for missionary work! :)

As for the baptisms... Either the people just dont understand the commandments or they dont come to church.. so we have had to push back and cancel baptismal dates. but we have a bunch set for the first Saturday in 2014! hopefully we can help them understand! but anyways this sunday was a particularly sad sunday. we had no investigators come to church! we dont know why :( but we will check up!

Oh Yes i loved going in the ocean! i felt kinda rebelious and like i was completly following rules all at the same time! it was really cool to see a baptism tho!

And yes all is well we had a youth activity and we had 8 investigating youth there. dont worry i can jump the furthest out of all them :) haha but they can do backflips and 360 handsprings and stuff so they are pretty cool guys!

Anyways love you ! and i will keep working hard!

I joined a gang

Ok so first of all you should send me a picture of snow sometime haha:)

Oh and I think I joined a gang? A guy named SamBo introduced us to his whole gang! He likes us I think... haha and he offered us quite a large amount of weed.. haha. We said no but it was an interesting night!

Any ways other than joinging a gang. The week was a bit slow.. My companion Elder Schroeder decided to get Dengue fever. So we were inside a lot. I got to read a lot of stuff tho! So that was good. But as for lessons we only got a few.
As for Sunday. It was good . Our senior couple elder and sister Gartz are leaving.. and the people LOVED them, so there was a huge party and there were so many people there! We had 90 people at Church instead of our usual 50-60,
so church was great. Elder Gartz was the acting branch president but now he is gone the branch needed to be re organized. So President Mehr came! Super cool! He is honestly the smartest and the best gospel teacher I have ever met.
The testimonies this Sunday were all from the Gartz' and the new presidency so the De bovilles, the Marquis, and the Felix'. So there wasn't time for any other testimonies. Oh other than the Gublers, the new senior couple.
But we got to go meet with Granny with President Mehr and everything he teaches and shares just blows my mine! Definitely a fan of listening to him!
Church this Sunday was a lot of fun!

So not much to report other than being part of a baptism! :)

Yeah I went in the ocean. Some of the other elders had a baptism and they asked me to be the other witness so it was cool! Not my companionships baptism but I still got to be a part of it! :)

So this week has been slow but a good experience! Good learning!
One of my favourite investigators hasn't come to church :( She gets sick every Saturday and Sunday so far. Not like a fake doesn't want to come to church but like legit dengue and other stuff.. so next week !

Gotta pick out our Christmas banana tree! And I also miss those singing things but the people here love Christmas music so we have heard it for the last 2 months. Lots of fun, and its all rap and redone music so its interesting.

Yes American thanks giving was great! We had a chance to celebrate it. President Mehr paid for every area in the mission to have Thanksgiving dinner! So we had 2 turkeys and so much food and a good time!

Oh and I will try not to cut my fingers off but no promises! His Companion has a machete...and there is a lot of fruit over there....Jeff has become a fruit ninja.

Ah well love you !!
I'll keep being a good missionary :)

Baptismal Dates

This Sunday was alright. We didn't have very many people committed to coming to church, and then it poured... people tend not to go places when you can swim through the air. haha. But we had a lot of our less actives there so that is very good! Elder Schroeder gave a talk and he noticed something that I felt subconsciously but couldn't pick out. It is a lot harder to talk when you are at eye level with the people. It's nice and easy when your standing above everyone. haha. Weird that it makes a difference but it really does.

As far as "S" and Baptism! Yes the ocean I am super excited for! (They do all their baptisms in the ocean because they don't have a font.) "S" has the 14th of December set as her date. She hasn't come to church yet because she is sick. I think she has dengue fever. But hopefully she can come next week so we don't have to push her date back. As far as baptismal dates though we have 4 People for the 14th and one for the 7th. Not sure how many will actually work out but were going to try to get everyone on their set days! :)

And yes Granny is very cool. It's her birthday today also!

I actually punched a banana tree over this week ! So yeah it was fun!

Christmas here is a pretty big holiday, but they don't believe in or really ever talk about Santa. They just get gifts for each other. Oh and our apartment we decided we are going to have a tree in! But yeah they love their Christmas music here also! It's nice!

So my favorite thing about Sunday.. well in the new investigator class we talked about prayer. At one point we talked about how we got answers to prayers. So sister Gayelle asked all the missionaries to share a story about how they have had an answer to prayer! So they were all really good. For mine I shared about how after I got my mission call, that night I prayed to know that it was the right decision for me, and after I prayed I decided it was good. I wanted to be a good missionary and I thought I should be more knowledgeable in the scriptures. So I turned to the scriptures where I had been reading and the first chapter I read (I don't remember where it is) said something along the lines of "you are called to serve these people " so I told that story about how my prayer was answered by the prompting I had to read the scriptures and how the scriptures answered my prayer! So yeah it was a good Sunday!

Anyways I love you! Enjoy the cold! I'll be here is St Lucia getting sun burnt!

Love ya

Need more chairs :)

St Lucia is pretty amazing! Today is an incredibly hot day! We played basketball this morning! So we got super sweaty. I'm gonna be a basketball star when I get home we have been playing every morning at 6:30 (3:30 at home) There is a court right beside our apartment!

I just realized I never told you about my mission granny. She got sick and was in the hospital but she is doing great! She is a lady who was baptized on a stretcher. She cannot walk because she has a blood clot in her leg that did something to it. But she is awesome and she loves her missionaries! She says we are her favourites, anyways I can't believe I never told you about her. Every time we go over she feeds us.She is super nice unless you get her vexed, then she just might through a knife at you.. and yes that actually happened haha not at us though.

My talk went surprisingly well. I tried giving a talk with nothing but the points I wanted to talk about and it went well. There was 16 investigators at church that day, and my talk was on the restoration. So it was a good talk for the time. 2 of the investigators really wanted to talk to me after the sacrament meeting. We discussed the restoration more, it was awesome! It was supposed to be a 10 minute talk but the other speakers left me about 20 minutes... but don't worry I talked for 25 haha!

As for baptisms they are all in the ocean! Kinda cool! We have no font, and yes we almost ran out of chairs last Sunday also! So I'm loving it! We will buy some soon!

So as for dads birthday I did actually remember it! The day before! One of our investigators (who has a baptismal date) has the same birthday as him! This lady make the best chicken ever! its 5 times better tasting than KFC and half as greasy! So amazing! And she knows that our church is the true church! Oh cool story about her, I don't know if I have said this already, but she was praying for God to send someone her way so that she could know the truth about the gospel, and we walked by her shop the next day 3-4 times, and on the fourth time she called out to us cause she thought we might be that answer to her prayer! :) So cool! anywhoo
This P-day is going to be a relax P-day. Just chill and stay cool! so its nice! I don't know when we are going to climb the Piton. I think we might go fishing first! Don't know when these things will happen!

Oh Another cool thing, we are teaching this lady named "D", she is older and is addicted to cigarettes, she wants to stop and wanted our help, or for us to pray for her, so she called us over and we starter talking to her, this was 4 weeks ago, we have taught her many times and just yesterday what we teach finally clicked, and she is starting to progress! But every time we went over she would have another child or friend over and now we have 6 investigators we teach at her house! So it's cool! :)

Oh and yes I got my transfer call on Saturday! I'm going to!!!!! stay here!!! with Elder Schroeder ! So that's awesome! I'm super excited! But it's crazy that one transfer has already gone by! My time here is flying by! So crazy.

Well I love you! Have an awesome week!

Zip-lining and elephantiasis

Zip-lining was amazing! We got to go at the not tourist price. So a lot cheaper. That was nice haha. But it is fun I recommend it!

Anyways my week has been great! We have had a lot of great lessons and we met an awesome kid. He is 15 and he is so interested in Joseph Smith. He prayed and received an answer that he was a prophet called by God. He is reading the Book of Mormon and wants a second confirmation that its true. So hopefully when he prays about the Book of Mormon he will know.

Oh and so for the education, turns out its amazing.. if you try. You take a test at the end of the year and if you do well you go to a good school, and if you do bad you go to a bad school! I like that system, even though i might have not gotten into the good school. haha

But my week is going so well. The zone leader just had a baptism and we had two of our investigators there. And one I think now wants to be baptized so that is amazing!

There are 6 missionaries in Castries. So six in our branch. And then there are four more down in Vieufort. 2 sisters and 2 elders. Oh and then there are 2 senior couples. The Gublers and the Gartz'. so there are a lot of missionaries here and the branch is growing! I like it.

Church was great! We had some amazing talks about putting God first in all we do, and we almost ran out of chairs, so we might have to buy more chairs soon! :) I'm sure that is a problem the church is happy to deal with!

Oh I saw a man with elephantiasis! Just so you know and can worry about me ! :)

Anyways I love you and I hope you also have a good week!
As my friends the Rastas would say!
Respect!

Love ya, Elder Pierson

Here are some videos to enjoy!

The teaching picks up :)

So my letter is late-ish now because i just got home from zip lining! :) That was a pretty awesome way to spend the morning of p-Day! Zip lining is super fun, especially when you're going through trees and such! As far as teaching the kids the haka... it hasn't happened yet, that will be potentially 2 Saturdays from now. It's gotten pretty weird, but i hope they like it. It sounds like it should be fun! Oh and I think we will be climbing the piton next transfer! Woah it's crazy how close next transfer is!

So my area is actually really small, so we get to walk everywhere we go! but i like it. Bikes would be terrifying! There are steep hills everywhere we go so up would be no fun and down would be scary.. haha but yeah my shoes are great! I don't slip very often in them either so that is a bonus!

Church has been going well here for the last little while! We have lots of members or I guess it seems like lots because we almost fill the chapel! But then again the chapel is small.. haha hopefully we can make it grow enough they need to buy more chairs! :)

My favourite thing about Sunday was that all the testimonies were great! One sister, sister Jones, is moving back to Guyana so there was a big party after with lots of food! So that was pretty awesome! The Fast and Testimony meeting went 20 minutes longer than it should have! But it was still amazing! Oh and I also got assigned a talk. 10 minutes long on the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm excited to give the talk ! It should be pretty fun!

Oh yeah it is getting close to Christmas isn't it.. it's hard to imagine without any snow. I didn't even know it was Halloween till like 3/4 of the way through the day! weird... haha

Well this week was a great week! We exceeded almost all our weekly goal by quite a bit, and we taught some really great people! We also taught some people while they were rolling their marijuana ... that was fun! But the good people are always really exciting to talk to! This one guy, "A", was in prison for a while and realized he needed to change his life. Now he is an amazing father to his family and is extremely dedicated to the Bible and studies it all the time. He is a little confused on some verses and they cause problems for him to accept a prophet, but we hope to meet with him again to discuss them. He has really good questions and always listens to the spirit so I hope once we help him with the prophet thing and he prays he will know its true. He would probably be a good stake president, and he has like 5 baptism age kids and his wife so that would be a lot of new members. I'm really excited to help him know!

Oh another great guy, he was also in and out of prison. Weird how prison changes a man. anyways he has a lot of questions but he thinks Joseph Smith was called of God. he says "The name just sounds right and all those people were probably trying to kill him because he had the truth, and the devil didn't like that." So he is pretty awesome! And all his family is in Canada, so many St. Lucians are moving to Canada!

So I'm excited to see some progression but our only guy with a baptismal date keeps skipping out on church :/
But anyways! Have a Great week! I love you!

Loving the Missionary Life

So first of all... I kinda miss the snow. haha I mean I guess it does get cold here when it rains, it drops all the way down to 24 ! Like brrr Freezing! ;)

Inline image 1

Zone Conference was amazing! We had so many missionaries there and we did actually kind of have an army. We and Elder Schroeder split and had lots of appointments so we each took two missionaries with us and went to visit the people! Almost got lost in a place called Bisee but I figured it out. haha

As far as cool P-day activities go so far I have only climed a coconut tree as my cool thing but this week we are all learning the haka so we can teach it to the youth on Saturday and next week we are going ziplining down in Denery. I think the week after that we are going to climb the Petite Piton. Which contrary to its name is not small.. you should google it. It's really cool. Oh and we also sometime are going fishing in the ocean i think so that will be fun. So that's my fun p-day activities.

"M" we didn't have a chance to meet with him again this week which really is unfortunate and he didn't come to church this week but we will visit him a couple times this week and see whats up. But we found so many amazing people and especially two amazing families. We contacted the mother of one and she says that shes Catholic and she isn't sure if its the true church, so she is looking for a good church for her family to be in together! :) yay. And another guy names "R", his family is amazing and he is so knowledgeable in the bible! He quotes scriptures left and right and just knows a lot, He is a little hesitant to believe there is a prophet on the earth today because of misunderstanding a verse of scripture, but we are trying to resolve his concern and have him know the truth ! He is so spiritual so as soon as we clear that concern I have no doubt he will know for sure.

Ah I love being a missionary :)

The size of the branch I'm in always depends on the weather. A good day and there will be 60 if it rains it ends up being like 20-30 so rain is sad.

Go Stampeders!! are they gonna win the Grey Cup?? they better :)
and let me know how the Rams do!

And yeah I am starting to realize that I'm actually a Poly so I guess I'm just realizing that here. haha

Yeah Everyone speaks Fluent in Patwa but English is a trouble I guess so who knows maybe we can help them learn more.

Anyways, I will work ! I'm excited to !

Thanks for being amazing! Love you!

The end of the rainy season

St. Lucia is Amazing!! Kierans uncle did not lie! The People here are so kind. All the members want to feed us whenever we come over. haha. Sadly most people we talk to on the streets or in most areas don't have good education so reading is a struggle and sometimes I use big words that they have no idea what I am trying to say so it will take some getting used to.. but it's awesome here!

Did Hayden and Parker speak in the same ward on Sunday?? That would be crazy! Oh and as for my branch now I haven't had to speak. It rained pretty bad last Sunday so people didn't come. This Sunday we had about 60 people, so much better.  And I just missed the rainy season.. like by a week so as much as it rains now I guess it's nothing haha . We went into a new area called Bisse and we met a lot of people. We have a  whole week booked up its cool. But the rest of the week is zone conference so we cant do much. Oh yeah I get to have 8 Missionaries from St Vincent stay in my apartment for 3 days haha

And ah josh! i miss that Guy!

This week has been a great week! we have talked to so many new people and we have an investigator coming to Church. His name is "M" and he is really cool so hopefully he keeps coming and we will baptise him ;) Next week I will have more to say about the work but we are still just getting started so hopefully it picks up really quickly! OH So you know the big old guy in forever strong.. The Tongan. Gets spat on, eats a whole chunk of meat.. Lindsey will know. anyways i have a lot of his teaching records.. he spent a lot of time in St Lucia I guess haha so there is my claim to fame so far in this mission.

Love you!
I'll keep working hard! :)

OH By the way. I am officially poly. I climbed a coconut tree

First Letter from the field

I am doing so very well! My companion is very awesome, and a great trainer! He is an amazing cook so I haven't had much traditional food from here but it smells really good so I will say the food here will be good! He is really knowledgable in the scriptures which is awesome and I can't wait until I know as much as he does!
St. Lucia is amazing! I love it here! The weather is so nice and the people are pretty amazing! Rastafarians are always fun to run into, and there is usually the smell of weed in the air almost anywhere we go haha.
Oh and the roads are all basically the autobauhn... it's crazy. Laws here are kinda just guidelines and cops wont do anything really. So on a 30km/h road which most are in the city people always go like 60, and if they are on a bike they are probably going closer to 100 so its fun, and crossing the road is an experience haha. Don't worry I wont die when I cross the road.. :)
We only have a Branch here, There is I think 200-300 members, but only 30-50 come regularly, so thats sad, we are going to be doing a lot of member work. Yes, there is one Sr Couple The Gartz' so Elder Gartz is the Branch president.. but they leave in 3 Months so I think one of the missionaries will become the new Branch President. kinda Crazy but it's what I heard.
Oh and I think we might have to do a lot of things in church. Teaching giving talks and such.
Woah tell them Good Luck! Them being Parker and Hayden, wish I could be there for their talks!
Ah Lydia is so cute!! but pinching isn't nice so hope she stops haha

So I think we met one of the Three Nephites. haha, There is this guy who out of no where shows up. He calls himself the Messenger.. it's really cool actually, he walks up and says something completely accurate about your life now or in the past or he gives you advice which is always helpful! haha it's kinda creepy/awesome! He always says he is a watcher and an observer.. so kinda cool. and he is spiritual but wont meet with us, he says when the spirit guides you to me I will be here, and then he knows our schedule better than we do.. so thats one cool thing.

Anyways my current mailing address is:

Guess where I am?!

In case you don't know I am in the West Indies in Trinidad.
So when we talked on the phone I said I was going to Grenada .. well that was a lie apparently. I guess they gave me that flight number just so they would let me into the country under a visitors visa. But I am actually not going to Grenada.. my assignment is actually to Castries, St.Lucia . I have heard lots of great things but I'm super excited ! Castries is a new area. Me and my companion are the first missionaries to go there so I am excited! Sorry this letter cant be too long! But I just want to tell you two more things.. one, I woke up to a macaw this morning so that was super cool and it is so dang humid here! But I love it! And Two is that I met an awesome guy on the plane and I was able to get his information and give it to my mission president. So I'm already in the good book :) One referral before i even got to Trinidad!!!

First and only email from the MTC

Inline image 1

The MTC is actually amazing! i love it here, I don't understand how people think its the hardest time of their whole mission. i guess i did get some pretty amazing companions and an amazing district! My companion is Elder Little, he is from sandy Utah and he lived a few minutes from snowbird. He is actually so funny! and we get along great! in my room we have two other elders that are just as awesome, Elder Bingham, and Elder Shariatmadari. they are honestly a few of the funniest guys I know but also the most spiritual and in touch with the promptings of the holy ghost. the other two guys in my district are Elder Grimm and Elder Nebeker. Also two of the best teachers I have met, me and Elder little got paired with them to teach a TRC investigator so we all get to work together which is pretty cool and really helps when someone gets stuck or doesn't know where to go with the lesson or how to answer a question. its a great learning experience teaching with them! The teachers are so helpful and they are so powerful in inviting the spirit into the classroom, its amazing! and The sisters in my District are amazing as well! they are all going to temple square and every guy is going West Indies!

The food is pretty amazing but I haven't gained anything :/ somehow it's not possible, even though I eat a lot! I usually get two of the different meals that are provided. and on fat Sunday I got all three.. haha it was amazing!

So There is a lot to say! like every time we hear someone speak its an amazing talk! and it always feels so applicable! its crazy how powerfully those men can speak!

And oh HEy guess what! I'm a zone leader! Me and and Elder little are big boys on campus now haha! We have two new districts coming into our zone tomorrow and i hope that we can help them out as much as the last zone leaders helped us! its not as tough as i thought it would be, we have no Sunday to prepare since its conference so that is kinda nice haha. but crazy being a zone leader hey?

oh and we leave for the West Indies on monday, at 2 in the morning! yay ... so tired haha so I'm almost done my stay here which is crazy! only one p-day for me at the MTC. but hey that's alright!

Anyways I miss you very much but I love being out here and I'm excited to serve the lord!

LOVE YOU
Elder Pierson!
